I see music as food for the soul…
I would like to reach out and take this moment to let you know that when you are in the audience it is so important to the musicians. Seeing friends and family enjoying the music that you are offering is so rewarding. This enjoyment lifts my spirits and excels me to enhance my performance. It can be difficult and somewhat expensive to go out for the night, eating, perhaps a drink and maybe work in the morning, but to miss a song that may touch you in a way that may change your thinking or direction toward the good, seems as if it would be a missed opportunity.
I see music as food for the soul, and if I can help someone to remember a moment in their lives that brings happiness, I feel I did my job. As a musician, we have an obligation to our audience to help them reach a place where they don’t spend most of their day. So I hope after experiencing a performance you will leave feeling a little better than when you arrived.
